All parents and family members can stay up to date on University of Illinois news, events, and family engagement opportunities by joining the New Student and Family Experiences family communication portal, known as Illinois Family Connections. Families can also access informative content that will assist them in supporting their Illini student.  We invite families to join the portal, complete their profile, select communities that are specific to their student’s experience and then enjoy engaging with other families. Illini Moms and Dads Associations

Created in the 1920's, The Illini Moms Association and Illini Dads Association are the oldest known parent associations in the country. Every parent is automatically a member of their respective organization. New Student and Family Experiences works collaboratively with both associations to provide programs support for families. Both Associations have scholarships and grants they offer to university students every year.
